In the Clockwise series, I have worked with time and religiosity. Time has primarily been included as a working method in which I have worked with the twelve paintings. In the process, I sat on a pillow on the floor with the canvases all around me. The canvases formed a clock circle and each canvas represented 1 to 12 AM and PM respectively. In this way, for example, I only had to work on the first painting between 12 to 1 AM and PM. Likewise, when I got the first idea for one of the paintings, I also had to adhere to the timeframe for the emergence of that idea. Thematically, I explored the essence of symbols and symbolism from different religions, but primarily Buddhism, Islam and Christianity.
